Why should you attend Content Management Strategies/DITA North America 2012?

At CMS/DITA North America 2012, join an outstanding group of individuals who are revolutionizing content development and delivery. The program is divided into four segments to give you an opportunity to specialize in one area or sample from several:
- Management—Discussions in this track focus on extending the reach of content management, integrating social media into your content strategy, developing metrics and calculating ROI, plus ideas on managing implementation more effectively. The Management Track has been a well-received part of the CM Strategies program for 14 years.
- Authoring—Discover strategies to make authoring more effective and efficient and spread content creation to the enterprise. 2012 will include sessions on customer studies, video presentations, training content development, search optimization through writing, adding 3D animations to text, and much more.
- Technical Solutions—If you are responsible for the technical aspects of DITA and content management, we invite you to follow this track. Learn about the OASIS XLIFF standard for translations, the technical solutions for release management, using DITA 1.2 subject schemes to manage metadata, dynamic publishing, cloud content management. You’ll find what you need to build efficiencies into your process.
- Emerging Technologies—Our new addition for 2012. The Emerging Technologies track introduces you to the future of XML and content management. Presentations include HTML5, CSS3, Schematron, Macroscopes, QR Codes, RelaxNG, Mobile Apps, and more. If you are anxious to learn about new technologies, these presentations are for you.

Welcome Reception—Conference Registration/Check-In
You may check-in during the Welcome Reception on Sunday, April 22, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The Welcome Reception will be held Poolside - West; or you may check-in on Monday beginning at 7:00 A.M., just outside the General Session area. Breakfast on Monday begins at 7:00 A.M. and the opening address begins at 8:00 A.M.
