The Center for Information-Development Management and Dr.
JoAnn Hackos announce a call for participation in the upcoming Content Management Strategies/DITA North America conference to take place April 27 – 29, in St. Petersburg, FL. If
you are interested in presenting and exhibiting at the conference, please complete the form
below and submit to
before December 1, 2008.
Three tracks are planned for the 2009 conference: management, technical, and DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture). Please indicate to which track you believe your presentation belongs.
The conference is directed towards managers and information developers who are working on single-sourcing projects, developing content-management systems, or moving content towards XML. Our attendees
are at various levels of experience with content reuse.
Preference will be given in the management track to those vendors who plan a joint presentation with a customer about a specific implementation of a technology solution. This year's technical track
will focus on the specific strategies and tools companies might use to select and implement a content management system or associated technologies. Topics discussing methods for authoring, collaboration, translation
and localization, compound document assembly, or the integration of content management and web publishing are welcome. For the DITA track, we want to emphasize successful implementations of this topic-oriented model.
All commercial vendors wishing to present a commercial-free presentation at the conference must also register to exhibit. If you are interested in exhibiting or sponsorship opportunities, please contact the CIDM Office at (303) 232-7586 or email Lovonya Thomas.
